Hearing Nebraska NG helicopters on 453.725 simplex with 127.3 PL.
Training around Camp Ashland and Western Sarpy County.
They are doing water drops using UH-58s (Hook) and UH-60s (Hawk).
Hearing multiple ground op radios as well. All simplex.

The helicopters are on their way to Lincoln for fuel. Will be back in the area around 1330

I saw the helicopters in the sky earlier today and was wondering if it was the Guard doing some kind of training. I saw three smaller helicopters with a nose a bit longer then the old UH-1, and I saw a twin rotor Chinook flying as well. All copters were heading NE crossing over Lincoln.

Heard one on 255.4 looking to open a flight plan as well.

So there maybe a news story about this.
