Albion Site

That tower is up on top of some high hills southwest of Albion, I get WNG 645 NOAA Wx from out that way on a regular basis, so I shouldn't have a problem hearing that site when it goes online.

I will advise when I hear something.

563xx probably is Boyd County. 63 is the county number for Boyd. They are dispatched by Holt County and they would be calling O'neil.

TG 60444-Neligh Shop?

NDOT has been a slippery one for trying to ID some of the talkgroups. I may have a new one, 60444, Neligh Shop. Somebody saying Neligh base clear.

With multiple NDOT shop locations, it makes it very difficult to pin down "who or what or where". The DOT workers mention where they are, but, which shop covers the said location.

I know that TGID 60407 is from saunders county. 2 guys were talking about a location (HWY 66/HWY 77) which is not far south of wahoo. I'm assuming that this is the NDOR Wahoo shop unless NDOR has several shops throughout saunders county. And one morning I heard a weekly test for the OCIO Diagnostic Evaluation Center on TGID 60130. The only location in Nebraska for this is Lincoln https://www.corrections.nebraska.gov/facilities/diagnostic-evaluation-center.

On TGID 60517, someone was talking to the Mullen shop. TGID 60134 sounded like somebody was saying Nebraska Health and Human Services. TGID 60451 is either Nance or Boone county. 2 guys were talking about 63A Spur which links Genoa to St. Edwards.

Agreed. I have logged several NDOT 604xx and 605xx talkgroups where units have given locations, but I'm not able to map to a particular "shop". I have not found a good list of "shop" locations, much less areas that they cover.

With this snow storm I firmly believe that TGID 60407 is for NDOT - Butler County.

Figuring out the NDOT locations is a mess. Most of the talk I hear is informal chatter between plow trucks.

I am not hearing any control channel data up here in the great north as I write this. This is off the Norfolk site, showing the Albion site as a neighbor. I will update accordingly.

They may be using 700 MHz vehicular repeaters.
I found a list of frequencies on a FCC license application attachment or something (don't remember where).
I think I posted this a few years ago but nobody ever mentioned if they heard anything on them.
I don't know if this is accurate or not.
