Can anyone tell me where i can find a belt clip for my pro96. I snapped mine the other night. Do i have to order from the States. Or would they have one if i took a drive to Michigan or something in one of there Radioshack stores.

You'll need to order one. Stores don't stock this.

I snapped a belt clip off on my old Pro-43. I found a nice piece of brushed sheet aluminum, cut it to roughly the same size as the original, put a few strategic bends in it and used the remaining part of the belt clip as a template to drill the holes for the new clip. Looks great and hasn't broke again in the last 10 years.

One thing you want to be careful of when fashioning your own belt clip...it should bend or break before the case back does.

I've had good luck taking a surplus cellphone case and screwing the round piece onto my scanner. Gives me a rotating belt clip for the scanner.

If you want an exact replacement you'll have to track one down. If you're close to a Princess Auto store, they had velcro stick-on metal belt-clips for less that $1. That was a few weeks ago, so they may be sold out. Or, you may be able to find the same item elsewhere. Just an idea.
