Hi people, i was just wondering where i can find a belt clip for my pro96, cause i snapped mine off the other night. I was just wondering if the radio shack stores in Michigan would carry them or do i have to order one.

My guess it that it will have to be ordered. The doc at:

says you can call their 800 number as well. Don't know if the number works in Canada, though.

Gee, for $500, you would think they could make a more durable radio.

You'd think so, but remember that these still fall into the class
of consumer equipment, not professional equipment. I've seen some belt clips made of metal on some "better" radios.
Incidentally, has anyone tried to buy a new belt clip for an
FRS radio? I've seen some real ridiculous prices ($10CDN
for a piece of plastic?). I'm lucky, or just too easy on my
equipment, having not broken one yet...

This works for FRS, but not a $500 scanner. Use the type of clip they sell for cell phones (you've seen them). You stick the small part on the radio, and the swivel clip on your belt.
