The pass almost directly over me was 11:51 UTC - 7:51 P.M. NY time and 4:51 P.M. your time.
I suspected they weren't broadcasting at the time. I started an audacity recording session and it picked up nothing at all. I know what SSTV sounds like, and in the past, I've picked up faint audio that MMSTV didn't pick up. I didn't note the distance of previous SSTV captures, but I do know that my radio with the stock antenna can pick up FM signals more than 47 miles away and the ISS Kenwood is usually blasting full force.
Anyway, thanks for the info. I'm less frustrated going to sleep thinking my setup didn't miss a broadcast so close to me. Another 3 days. Hopefully, I'll pick up something.
