Need a little help

Have the 436 in Sentinel I have my delay set to 3 but what do I set the hold time for right now it's 0 ?

delay is like the old delay.
the radio waits for a reply on the frequency or talkgroup.
2 or 3 is a good setting.
hold is how long it stays on the system.
0 is a good setting if you have other things to scan
if you only have one thing scanning you could go up to 255.
the numbers in both cases represent seconds.
