I live in SOCAL San Fernando Valley area and need help choosing a scanner. I want to scann local LAPD and Chp any ideas Thanks.

LAPD = Digital P25 audio. Needs something like:
Uniden 396T (handheld)
Radio Shack Pro-96 (handheld)
Uniden 996T base/mobile
Radio Shack Pro-2096 (base/mobile)

...chp is pretty much available via any scanner you can purchase today...
