I have a former law enforcement friend who is retiring and moving to the Rochester NY area and wants to listen to radio calls. I'm in need of the Harris TDMA channel ID plan for the Monroe County System ID 227 to program an APX6000 for NAS. I don't have SDR Trunk, nor live in the area, which can quickly supply the information from the Control Channel. Programming NAS for Motorola FDMA and TDMA systems follows a standard format, but each Harris system is unique. I tried the following two TDMA Channel ID plans on an APX6000 that displayed radio traffic on the LCD screen, but failed to un-mute the speaker:

Position 1 FDMA -45.000 6.250 851.00625
Position 2 FDMA +30.000 6.250 762.00625
Position 9 TDMA -45.000 12.500 851.00625
Position 10 TDMA +30.000 12.500 762.00625

Position 1 FDMA -45.000 6.250 851.00625
Position 2 FDMA +30.000 6.250 762.00625
Position 9 TDMA -45.000 6.250 851.00625
Position 10 TDMA +30.000 6.250 762.00625

In addition, "Motorola Proprietary Features" and "Validate NAC Against System ID" were left blank, while "WUID Validity Support" was checked. Coverage Type of "Smartzone & OmniLink" was selected and all channels input as Control Channels. Despite all the above settings, no audio was received.

Hopefully, someone can provide the correct Channel ID plan that will un-mute the speaker.

Should have kept on scrolling.

If you’re using a scanner or a unication you don’t need this info…

One would only need this info when illegally programming the system into a radio they have no business programming it into

Before you go attempting to program an unauthorized radio onto a trunk system, you may want to look at this.

If a system admin see a radio attempting to affiliate that's unauthorized, they can, (and often will) get the FCC's enforcement bureau involved.
They don't take kindly to this kind of thing...

https://docs.fcc.gov/public/attachments/DOC-410850A1.pdf

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC or Commission) received a complaint from the Stafford County, Virginia Sheriff’s Office (Sheriff) concerning interference to the Stafford County P25 public safety radio communications system (Stafford County System) operating countywide on certain exclusively licensed radio frequencies. In June 2024, Agents from the Columbia, Maryland Field Office of the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau (Bureau) conducted an investigation and determined that the source of interference to the Stafford County System was a radio transmitting signals in an attempt to self authenticate and thereby gain access to the Stafford County System. The signals were emanating from a handheld Motorola APX7000 two-way radio that generated a unique identification code and had apparently been illegally programmed to operate on Stafford County System’s licensed frequencies.

So yes, @62Truck 's advice is best. Get a scanner or Unication.

All I did was copy the information from the database which you are an admin for. If you are unhappy with people giving this information out, maybe you as a database admin should remove said information off the page.

This has NOTHING to do with the information provided on the Radio Reference Database, W1KNE is just warning you, that if you program your radio and you affiliate to the trunk system, Law Enforcement WILL get involved.
It has nothing to do with me when you say “you.” I’m not the original poster; I simply replied to the question that was asked, something the two people who responded failed to do, incliding a moderator. They provided opinion, which wasn't asked for.

RR forums are about providing information, information that is publicly available, by the way. When someone asks a specific question, why don’t people simply answer it? Nobody asked for their opinion.

That’s where this forum is starting to fall short. Moderators seem to lock down threads that provide factual information, while leaving threads open where people offer opinions that weren’t asked for.

maybe point (include the URL) for the member, since he/she is a Premium, so they learn where it already is in the RRDB

Maybe you missed it but I already provided the info the OP was seeking. It was the second post.

I would think if @W1KNE has any issue with anything in the db he probably would not have liked my post providing the said info.

I simply replied to the question that was asked, something the two people who responded failed to do, incliding a moderator. They provided opinion, which wasn't asked for.

Hmm, since I am actually one of the 2 people who responded, before you even showed up, what exactly did I fail to do? What opinion did I post? And what moderator? The database admin posted after you, not before.

Not sure if this would be considered opinion or fact, but, to me, it pretty much looks like an attack on @62Truck since the info was already posted before you came along.

Really hope its fact since you stated you don't like opinions.

Wonder why

Where did a moderator chime in? I don't see any of the five or so moderators involved in this thread.

You completely contradicted yourself there. "Nobody asked for their opinion"., actually yes, they did. They posed a question on a message forum, which opens them up to opinion. Also, you provided your opinion, that also, "nobody asked about". We gave (sane) advice to the OP, so that they wouldn't get in trouble. I'm done with your stupid word semantics, and trying to be slick by turning everything personal. Go bark up another tree. I'm done here.

@prissell, the OP, please listen to the advice of those of us who actually know a thing or to, and ignore the noise from the rest.
