Need Freqs for Quartzsite Arizona

I will staying out at Quartzsite Arizona for a month in my motor home. I have looked at the RRdata base, but could not find any thing. If I knew what part of the county in Azona that is, maybe the RRdate base could help me. Any help in finding freqs for that area will be apreciated. Thank you. Ed

Quartzsite Frequencies

I just returned from Quartzsite (also in a motorhome). Here are the frequencies I monitored (from the SW Frequency Directory, 7th edition):

155.49000 LAPAZ County S.O. F1
155.31000 LAPAZ County S.O. F2
155.83500 Quartzsite P.D. F1
154.04000 Quartzsite P.D. F2
154.40000 LaPaz County Fire
154.22000 LaPaz County Fire
155.32500 Air Evac
155.16000 LaPaz County SAR
460.40000 Arizona DPS (Highway Patrol) District 4
460.22500 Arizona DPS Statwide

Most of these frequencies are repeated and the transmitters are located on Cunningham Mountain, which is just to the west of Quartzsite. You can see the site from anywhere in the area.

Most of the activity I heard was on LaPaz S.O. F2, on LaPaz Fire, F1, and of course, the DPS D4 channel (which is actually dispatched out of their Tucson Dispatch Center) Quartzsite P.D is dispatched by the S.O.

I hope you are prepared for a lot of traffic -- the vehicular kind, that is. It's brutal. A lot of the radio traffic I monitored involved the public safety units trying to get to calls through all of the RV's
