Following (mostly) are results from searching the database on this site:
154.7700 PL-110.9 = Suffern (NY) police dispatch
158.7300 PL-167.9 = Essex Fells (NJ) police car-to-car
155.5950 PL-77.0 = Haverstraw (NY) police dispatch
154.7250 PL-151.4 = Rockland County (NY) sheriff county-wide
154.2050 Newark FD? = many possibilities, insufficient data to narrow it down; did you get a PL or any unit IDs?
155.5350 Milltown? = maybe, PL/192.8 was the old police channel from before they went UHF, I thought it is currently not used for anything but maybe some other service there took it over. What did you hear on this?

Hi Jim,

No PL as of yet on the 154.2050 and its not used much so I think its a fire dept, and the 155.5350 is not showing a PL in the search mode, maybe it has no PL, could this frequency be Middletown, NY, I heard them mention milltown or middletown, its a police frequency. I didn't know I can receive the upstate NY frequencies in Wayne on a handheld with a telescoping antenna on it.

Thanks....John aka johnny_dx

154.205 is the fire dispatch frequency for Orange county NY. 155.535 is used by the NY state police Troop F which also covers Orange county.

Update to Markscan's post...154.205 with a PL of 123.0 is Orange County, NY Fire Control. You are probably hearing the pages off Mt. Peter which is in Warwick. 155.535 NYSP Troop F has no PL. "Middletown" is Troop F headquarters. Zone 2 is Orange/Rockland Counties. Their units are 2F series.

Various PLs and DPLs are used on it, but it's supposed to be 131.8 Hz. The state JEMS plan says it should be monitored in CSQ.

I was doing a search of the public safety band on my BR330T and found the three control channels that are listed below, does anyone know what they are used for?

854.4875

Hi Joseph11,

I don't think that those systems are it, I live in Wayne and there is no way I can receive Bulington County from here and I can just barely receive NJT north and I know I can not receive south plus those are the control channel frequencies I gave and none of the systems you showed me have those control channels in red or blue.

I need your help again, I can not find this frequency in the FCC data base, its 151.2750 DCS 606, this frequency is not listed at all in the FCC data base for NJ and NY at all, I receive it pretty stong in Wayne so it must be close to me and it sounds like a PD and is used a lot, does anybody have a clue what it is?

Thanks....johnny_dx
