Need Help Changing Etrunker Detail Log Colors ?

I have seen several requests for this on this forum (but no one seems to have made the change ?) and personally I think it would be a nice addition. I would like to make the color of the Detail Log information the same color as the group that it is then affiliated with as the radios are switched from group to group.

For example if the detail log is like:

02:24:23 Ambulance Supervisor 4525 Af-> 1124 General Hospital

I would like the whole line to be colored in the color that I have set for the group 1124. I think I can do the coding .. just need a little help finding the code that puts the detail log info on the screen.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have this completed .. but I am too embarrassed to show anyone my code.

I want to do it as described in my above note (but that is not how I have it done now). I am changing the color based on the name of the groups .. (mine are all prefixed with the user of the system .. ie ERD, EMS or Digital (DES, PV)).

I don't like this .. so if some one has an idea on how to do this .. let me know.

It is the scrlog.cpp file that is doing the work to make the detail log.

Any help appreciated ..

Go ahead and post your changes, you never know who lurks around these fourms. Your code may be just the thing that helps jump start a new feature being added.

I ideally want to get the color information from the GRP file but for now I will base the colors on the user of the system.

If I was to get the info from the grp file is there ...

- an easy way to get the color code for the group in the detail line ?
( I am assuming the information from the grp file is already open in memory as I dont want to open the file again). I am assuming that the info is in an array that can be used for searching .. all I really need is the color code from the group on each detail line.
