NEED HELP ENTERING IDs

I have a GRE 500 and am trying to entering multiple talkgroup IDs, instead of using the "Wildcard" option. Can someone advise how I can do this MANUALLY?

you enter it the same way you enter a regular TGRP ID but you change the type from group to private.

Only if he wants to enter "Private" IDs (i.e. IDs for specific radios).

If you want to enter a new TGRP object for a specific talkgroup ID...
PGM NEW TGRP
On "Scan Lists:" line:Select scan list(s) to which it will belong
On "TSYS:" line: Select existing TSYS for the TGRP, or create a new TSYS
On "ID:" line: Enter talkgroup ID in place of the default "Wildcard" value
Set any other options you want
Save it

Don explained exactly how it is done. Do yourself a favor though. Use one of the programs out there (I personally recommend Don's Win500) and use the trial. You will find that it saves you a ton of time.

After the "Save it" step above (pressing F1), press F1 again to start creating a new TGRP.

We can reformat my above as:
1. PGM
2. NEW
3. TGRP
4. On "Scan Lists:" line:Select scan list(s) to which it will belong
5. On "TSYS:" line: Select existing TSYS for the TGRP, or create a new TSYS
6. On "ID:" line: Enter talkgroup ID in place of the default "Wildcard" value
7. Set any other options you want
8. Press F1 ("Save") to save it
9. Repeat from step 3 (you're now presented with the softkeys as if you'd just hit PGM NEW)

Thanks for taking the time to detail the above. I still was not successful, so a friend of my downloaded the info from RR into my scanner. But thanks very much for your help--it is appreciated!
