need help finding the right freq

hello there. I am trying to find all the correct freq. for the cities of La Porte, Deer Park, South Houston, Pasadena Texas. I have a handheld scanner and am not able to pick these cities up even though I was able to on a scanner I had two or three years ago. I live in northeast Houston so I am not to far away from them. I have programmed every freq that I have found from about twenty different lists and the ones I have had. Can anyone help me???????????

What scanner do you have and what software do you use?

I found some Win95 files for Houston and Pasadena.
I can attach them if you are interested?

I'm not sure what kind of scanner you have, but to pick up most of the traffic in Pasadena, it looks like you'll need to have a trunking scanner. If you don't have a trunking scanner, their fire dispatch (only) traffic can be heard on 154.010.

the right freq

I have a PRO-94 scanner from Radio Shack. I have trunking and have programmed the freq in it but still do not get anything. The other day I picked up a fire call from South Houston but only got the dispatcher and nothing else and one day I picked up a Pasadena fire dispatch but those are the only two times. I want to hear them all the time. I can not afford to buy anything else for it. I do not have any software that I am using for the scanner because there is none that I have seen. I have only had this one for about a month. I had an earlier scanner form RS a couple of years ago and had no problem picking these cities up, trunking and regular. Please someone help!!!!!!!!!!!! :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:
