Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference for NJ Other State Agencies (New Jersey)

Department of Transportation (NJ DOT)
NJ DOT communications are on the 800 MHz State Police trunked system and on the newer 700 MHz NJPSIC under various talk groups. Some operations remain on these low band frequencies, namely NJ DOT snow plow trucks for truck to truck communications.
Only Turnpike and Garden State Parkway maintenance use the system in TAC-1 response.
The NJDOT uses the NJICS system and can still be heard on the NJSP 800 mhz system.
I believe the low band channels listed about is no longer in use for the NJDOT however
older NJDOT trucks may still have those radios.
