Need help for DPD scanning

Hi,

I am new to trunk tracking scanning and just got a bearcat 246T. Can anyone help point me how to program for denver poilice. I am using the software to load the frequencies and tried AFS and DEC but it won't scan the freq's it just keeps scanning and searching for id.

What am i doing wrong?

Edac systems must be programmed starting with channel 1 of whatever bank you are using. also make sure you are in edacs mode.

You also need to program in the talkgroup id's - Here is a link that will give you a list of the most commonly used talkgroups in the Denver Public Safety system.

Start under the "System Talkgroups" bar.
