The scanner screen should show the percentage of data transferred when uploading to the scanner. The software will show data being sent if the cable is recognized even if a scanner is not connected. The problem may be that you need to install the driver for the cable. Do you get a com port indication when you try to upload? If there is a mono adapter on the end of the cable, remove it. The 1065 requires a TRS stereo plug. Make sure that the cable is plugged into the PC/IC jack and not the headphone jack and the scan lists are turned on. On trunked systems each talkgroup must be assigned to both a scan list and a trunk system.

you dont need to enter the c after the frequency. the small c is there for information only to indicate the frequency is a control frequency for a trunked system.

What is missing? Conventional frequencies or talkgroups? If you attach your programming file, I will check it out for any problems. You will have to send the file to a compressed (zipped) folder to be able to attach it.

Save the file that you are sending to the scanner. In the file explorer, right click on the file and Send To Compressed (Zipped) Folder. You can then attach the file to your post. Click on Attach Files and then highlight and open your ARC500 zipped programming file.

That is the trunked file for Stanislaus Co. I found several problems. There were 2 identical systems. I deleted the second system. Neither was named which prevented talkgroups being assigned to the systems. I named the remaining system Stanislaus Reg so that it could be assigned to the talkgroups. I changed Multi-Site on the system from Roam to Off since there is only a single site. There were 2 identical sets of talkgroups. I deleted the second set of talkgroups and added a talkgroup for Turlock PD. I assigned each agency to its own scan list. Scan lists as follows:
1. Ceres PD
2. Modesto PD
3. Stan Co Sheriff
4. Turlock PD
You can look at the scan lists under Global Settings in ARC500.
Save the attached zipped file to your computer and extract. Open the extracted file with ARC500 and Upload to Scanner.
