Need Help Getting My Feed Going

Im trying to get my feed going, but I keep getting this message (unable to connect to socket) in the Oddcast V3 encoder window. It is trying to reconnect every 30 seconds but I've had no luck. Is this nornal?
BTW I posted this in another sub forum(software), but no luck. I figured this would be a better place to try.

Try ScannerCast & see it will work better:

I tried ScannerCast since I had the same problem with Oddcast, but it says:
Error status from IceCast.
HTTP/1.0 401 Authentication Required
WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm= "IceCast2 Server"

Have any ideas?

The Oddcast on another computer of mine works ok.

I am getting the same error as this as well as the same error on oddcast listed before.....

My Icecast does the same thing with the socket problem. The only way I have found to fix it is to restart the computer
