need HELP in Frankfort Ky

My analog police scanner is no longer picking up frankfort police. I think they might have went digital. Is buying a digital scanner worth the money and what brand would you guys recommend? I really loved my scanner and I am sad now that I can't get anything except fire and ems.

Well, I think I figured it out...for everyone's info...guess my scanner hobby is over.. I am really against this.
