It's a "fair" scanner...what exactly do you want to monitor???
If you are in Omaha...then you need a digital scanner to listen to OPD and OFD.

For your use now it should work. In the very near future you will need a digital scanner to listen to NSP in your area. The scanner that you have now will not work. If you don't care to listen to NSP or other state agencies then your scanner will work for your area.
