Need Help Programing BCD996XT in Richmond VA

Hello!
I recently purchased this scanner and have used freescan along with the RR.com database to program, however, I need to filter out a bunch of channels I don't need. I tried doing this with the software but still not working the way I would like. Could someone in the Richmond, VA or surrounding areas help me out? I would be will to pay you a reasonable amount for your time.

What channels (talkgroups) are you trying to "filter out"?

I only want channels related to fire incidents. I've noticed a lot of chatter from the jail and DPW among others.

Simply lock out the Richmond City Sheriff and DPW/DPU talkgroups (there are a few others). If you ask me, you'll want to keep the five RPD dispatch talkgroups (RPD 1, RPD 2, RPD 3, RPD 4 and RPD 5) as well as the "Citywide" or "Service" channel. If you don't care about the other police activity you can lock out all their tac talkgroups as RPD activity relating to fires will more than likely be on the main dispatch talkgroups.

Thanks kf4zto. I'll check it when i get near it again. It runs in my office and streams over internet. I am a novice(understatement) and, other than what i have read in the internet, know little or nothing about it other than how to turn it on. This is why I am seeking professional help.

Do you own the scanner in the office? Or are you just streaming it from a third party site?

Yes. I own the scanner and I stream it using software I purchased to the Internet where I can access it with my phone or ipad. It is not publicly available and only I have access to the stream. I am in the office 2 or 3 times a week and check it to make sure it's working properly.
