Wonder if someone could help me out with this, i have a BC898t and i am trying to listen to 2 different trunks, it says in the manual unless i am understanding it wrong that it can monitor 2 different trunks at the same time as long as it is on different banks...For example i am in windsor ontario, i have our city services which includes police and fire, but the EMS is on a different trunking, i have the city on bank a and the ems on bank j If someone could explain this difference that be cool...here is what the ems runs on Motorola Type II SmartZone and the city is on Motorola Type II Smartnet , i have everything that i know programmed right for the bellfleetnet i have entered in all 3 bases codes etc that it says

also just as note the only way i can monitor is if i monitor the banks seperate like lock out a-i then i can pick up the ems , and if i want to listen to police and fire then i have to block out b-j, if i leave them both on then i only get the city (police and fire) but it will not pick up the other trunk system, is this a problem with the scanner or is it not capable of doing this???
