Thank you in advance for any advice or help. I moved here from MN about 2 1/2 years ago, and my old scanner wan't working here since its not digital.
I decided its time to get a digital scanner.. wow they are pricey I got a good deal on a Uniden BC396XLT, but the guy I bought it from had lost all the cords. I thought I might be able to get by by just programming the frequencies in by hand, but I don't know if I ve gotten them all. Its a daunting task to organize all this channels and groups, etc I find that my conversations are sometimes one sided or not trunking properly, so I am either missing some, misprogrammed or both.
Does anybody have a uniden program cord for sale local, or even to borrow.. or would use theirs to program mine for a small fee? and maybe even a tip or two. I would just want the local law enforcement channels really. Im kind of a newbie and this little sucker is complicated THanks I really appreciate it! my emauilis tmriedel@gmail.com
