NEED HELP with 996 XT fermware update

I went to do the ferm ware update on the 996 xt and now i do have a problem. The memmory is been eraced and the updat will not load. keeps giving me an error message. HELP !

Cancel the request.. Had to delete down load and start over. must have taken a hit on the original down load
