Need help with choosing antenna

I'm looking to purchase a new antenna for my Pro-97. I mostly listen to 155 and 500mhz. I was thinking about the 15" long RH77CA. Anyone have experience with this antenna? Will it work with those ranges. I'm tired of the static with my rubber ducky.

If you want awesome reception you should buy the Scantenna. You don't even have to assemble it, it comes preassembled. BTW, this is an external antenna, not one you would connect directly to the scanner.

The RH77CA will do well for your 155mhz. I'm using the very similar RH771 on my BR330T. It's cut for 2m (approx 144-148mhz) & 440mhz. Haven't tried anything near 500mhz, but Vhf -high (150-160mhz) is excellent.
