I own a Uniden BCD436HP scanner. I am trying to put the frequency of the company I work for in the scanner.
The company that installs the radios in the trucks said all I need is the network ID and the talk group ID's which he gave me. I can't find the information in the database for the network ID or Group ID. and can not find
how to put them in using owners manual. Also using sentinel program.

Thanks

Click the main database page and insert the network ID number in the system ID search box. That should bring up the system in question, if their terminology is correct.

Seems a bit like the wrong approach if he's given you the frequency(ies) and TGIDs.

Do you know any more about the type of system? DMR? P25? NXDN?

How many frequencies do you have?

Can you provide any of the details (freqs, TGIDs) that we can help figure it out for you?

The network ID is 134 and the Group ID's are 147, 148, 149, 150, 151
When I type in the network ID information comes up how ever the company is not listed in any of the talk groups.
That is what the tech gave me and said this is all you need. He did say I would need a digital scanner and
a pc to get it into the scanner

If you have the latest library loaded onto the 436 (or reasonably current), you *might* be able to get it loaded up in a few simple steps directly on the radio via Zip Code programming (02368?). Even though the talkgroups are not in the library, you could either add them on the radio and/or put the system into "ID Search" mode which will let you hear those talkgroups even if they aren't in the database/library.

Zip Code programming will load alot of stuff (typically) but you can find and HOLD on this system once loaded to avoid scanning through all the other stuff.

Several options...

Are those talkgroups already active/in use?

To the OP - since you are new to this... do you have DMR in the scanner? It is an extra cost add on.
