Need Help with PRO-96

Needing help with programming with Memphis .
I have got the set up with Win96 . But noticed with the live feed , I wasnt getting any signals.

Is there somewhere or do you guys know of someone who would clone or set up the scanner .

I am a new to this scanners stuff so any help is greatful.

Try Radio Shack. They program the scanner you buy from them. Their programming may leave a little to be desired, but at least it'll get you in the ballpark.

You won't hear but just a little bit on the City of Memphis System since we are in the testing stage of swapping over to a new system. You can program 855.2375 which is the analog vocal frequency. That is the freq. used to dispatch all the calls to the station houses. Check out the database for some more frequencies. Make sure when you program the county's EDACS system, don't start with 000, start with channel 001 when programming the frequencies.

The couple of Radio Shacks that I have been to here around Memphis seem to be doing good to know what day of the week it is, much less trying to program a scanner!!

Aint that the truth!!!

Try Control channels 859.46250 and 860.96250 you can pick up testing all the time. And some patches hear and there.

Ok guys will me being a newbie to the PRO-96 . How would i go about loading channel 001 into scanner , what numbers would i load and in what order, I see control numbers and prim numbers are they placed in order or what ?

Like I said any help would be greatly thanked

I have a PRO-96 and if I'm not mistaken, for the new Memphis system that is not yet phased in, you just need to load the control freqs in a bank. Order is unimportant.

I know for EDACS systems, like Shelby County Sheriff, you need to load them in order, e.g., the 01 control freq. in the 01 channel slot. Hope this helps.
