Does Ctrl-D work?

Do you have both a sites.xml file, and a sites.xsl file, in the TrunkView folder?
The xsl file is responsible for formatting of the data on the screen.

What operating system are you using?

Yes both files in TV folder
No Ctrl-D does not work program just beeps when mouse click and have to restart program.
I am using XP on this PC that is now set up, Vista on the other two systems with the same problem the TV program freezes and is only accessible by right click on settings on icon or re-starting.

Have you just got the one copy of Trunkview on the PC? I've had a problem when there have been two copies in similar file locations, still not found why.

SMR for Bendigo

I would like to set up the Victorian SMR network in Bendigo. How do i set up trunkview, I have read that i need to do a custom setup for the Victorian SMR network. Not real sure where to start. If you have already set it up for use in the Bendigo (One tree hill area) i would really appreciate a copy of the file or how you set it up.

Thanks Wayne

The "experts" on aurfscan should be able to provide all the assistance you need.

It really saves others having to guess what could be happening, if you state in your initial post, the make and model of scanner you are using.

Strange as it may seem, I don't believe having a wrong frequency in the data would cause such an error message. It is more likely saying that it cannot read a particular file - perhaps the Profile has been corrupted.

Quick note on Icom Radios
Icom note:
Radios which are driven by the Icom CI-V protocol have a 'radio address'.
Just enter the appropriate CI-V address (in hex) for the particular radio in the Settings window and your radio should work with TrunkView!

PCR-100 / PCR-1000 / (PC)R-1500 / (PC)R-2500 users only have to check the 'PCR model' box.
Cheers FYI Sly

And I should have included Operating System, and Computer Brand/Type (desktop/laptop), in the above post.

Some Win98 / Hardware combinations aren't 100% compatible with TrunkView, and Win7 is generally not very friendly with third party software.

Like wise, there are numerous reports on the Net of people having extreme difficulty in getting "sound-card based' software running on Dell Laptops.

So, the more information that is included with the initial post, the better the chance of the problem being resolved.
