need help with Uniden BCD325P

I recently purchased BCD325P2 and having a difficult picking up local frequencies, I'm using a Remtronix antenna. I live in Alameda, I'm able to pick San Francisco just fine, but not picking up Alameda, Oakland or San Leandro. Is there a better antenna that I should be using? I had it pre-programmed for Alameda County and San Francisco. Any help would be appreciated.

Alameda and Oakland are both on EBRCS. Did you program that system?

No, it was pre-programmed when I bought it. Does a good antenna make a difference, I'm using a remtronix antenna. Thanks!

The antenna is great but you must program in 5he EBRCS to be able to scan those cities.
