So when I try to add new trunking system manually I click on save changes but it doesn't save them. Maybe I missed something or did something wrong? I'm new to this device, I usually use Uniden Scanners. Can someone explain me or tell me the steps in a simple manner?

Not sure where you see save changes that you are clicking on, in EZ Scan information added or changed is automatically saved when you exit out, and it doesn't go to the scanner until you click on copy configuration to scanner memory card.

On the Trunked Systems tab click new, add system including the correct type, go to the bottom and add sites (you only need the control channel and alts), talkgroups and Radio IDs if you want them (at least just add wildcards in TGs and RIDs). Then go to the Scanner/SD Card tab at the top and copy to scanner memory card. Card can be in computer for faster and more reliable transfers.

But why are you manually adding systems rather than using the database?

N1GAW has it right. Use the software to add and maintain systems and scam lists. Then save that updated configuration to the radio (card). Not sure what you are trying to do otherwise.

It's a process with several steps. Create a system with the proper type, add frequencies, add TG's, add those TG's to a scanlist, add that scanlist to the scanset, if not already there, to make it part of the scan cycle.

Shouldn't be more than that to get it going. There's a lot of finetuning with delays and dwells and all that that might be needed to optimize it.
