I will be driving in from Iowa to Chicago on Hwy 20 to I-90 to 294. What frequencies should I monitor?

Go to www.carmachicago.com and download the various Profiles, including the State Radio, District 15 and the local county docs. You will travel thru JoDaviess, Stephenson, Winnebago, Boone, McHenry, Kane, DuPage and Cook Counties.

For lake county on CarmaChicago, many of the PL tones are incorrect as are frequencies for some agencies.

I have found the Lake Country profile to be very accurate and useful.

The LC Races needs a minor update: Quad 1 is now 146.565 and the UHF repeater's tone is 114.8. (From their web-site).
