Need MAC Compatible Programming Software For My Uniden BC796D

Hey friends,

I was wondering what scanner programming software is available and MAC compatible? My wife switched us out from a PC to a MAC so my Butel software will no longer work.

I suspect there hast to be some MAC compatible scanner programming software out there.

Please offer me some suggestions.

I don't know of any - you might be forced to install Parallels or VMWare (I believe those are the packages) to simulate a Windows environment - or a much simpler solution would be to buy a used PC on the cheap. Lots of places to do that these days...Mike

Oracle Virtual Box

Don't spend the money on VMWare or Parallels - use Oracle's freeware VirtualBox and then load a virtual instance of Windows that will run your Butel software.
