Was wondering if anyone knew any milair frequencies that can be monitored from the JOhnston Co& Wake CO. area.

Hmm, neither the 96 nor the 95 do all that well in the milair ranges - maybe using the 2032?
You'll most certainly need a good antenna mounted up nice and high.
