Hello, I just joined this group and I'm needing a frequency.
It's used by MRN as a sort of party line freq. that the various announcers covering a NASCAR race use to each other and I think it's also the feed to the affiliated radio stations carrying the race broadcast. When the local broadcast station is doing their commercials is when the announcers talk to each other and it iasn't heard on the broadcast at all.
I had it on my old scanner, which gave up the ghost after being dropped one time too many. I think it's 454 MHZ, but I'm not sure.
My new scanner, bought from Racing Radios BTW, is a Uniden handheld BC72XLT.
Later on I may get a little deeper into this forum, but right now I just need that freq. as the race at Atlanta Motor Speedway is this weekend.
Thx in advance for all help,
Dave

That's exactly what I was looking for! Thanks a bunch, and I'll try later to learn my way around the site so I won't have to ask such a simple question. Right now I'm just trying to get it together for Sunday's race.
