I already have some Eneloop batteries so that won't be a problem. I see that the BCD325P2 can run on AC if you take out the batteries. That's a plus but I don't have an outdoor antenna and you know how those rubber duck antennas are. You opinion is appreciated.
Try the antenna that comes with it to see how it works. I own a Radio Shack 800mhz antenna for all my portables. As far as anything else I defer to the experts here.
