Need NY Presbyterian ambulance service freqs...help!!

Looking for the freqs and PLs for New York-Presbyterian Hospital's in house ambulance dispatching. I remember finding them (UHF if memory serves) in an old version of Scannermaster (AKA the Bible!) years ago, but that volume bit the dust with my first marriage. Second wife, more happy, but can't locate the info on the Internet (you mean not EVERYTHING is available on the Web? ). Anyone who could help out, would be appreciated.

I used to work on their radios, the main channel used to be 461.100 pl 131.8. and a 470 channel that escapes me now. I don't know if that's still being used or if they have others. Try the FCC website wit the following; ULS License - Industrial/Business Pool, Conventional License - KNDL296 - NEW YORK HOSPITAL - Frequencies Summary. Take their FRN and run that too, there may be other freqs.

On the volunteer ambulance page at n2nov.net (NYC VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE GROUPS) we have:
COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY EMS 91B NEW YORK 463.700/DPL 205, 462.100/DPL 025, 461.100/131.8 PL

ScannerMaster 7th ed. (2003) on page 81 has Columbia-Presbyterian with:
154.570, 163.250 (paging), 462.875, 464.3125/118.8 PL (transport), 472.2875, 47.660, 472.7625/167.9 PL (security)

The FCC page has:
461.100, 461.725, 461.925

If I remember correctly wasn't 461.1 MHz the old frequency for the Empire State Paramedics based at New York Hospital in the late seventies & early eighties & wasn't 47.66 MHz the VHF low band frequency for the NYC EMS interfacility transfer buses & the NYC Health & Hospital morgue vans in the sixties?

You get today's booby prize. To make a long story short, yes 461.100 131.8 was Empire State Ambulances frequency until they went out of business. New York Hospital hired all the Paramedics, EMT'S, and the Dispatchers. Their dispatch office stayed the same until they built a new command center in the ER courtyard in a trailer in the late 80's. So in some respect you can say New York Hospital saved the jobs of Empire State personnel. BTW Empire State was resurected in the early 90's, I don't know if they still exist. I know a lot of services went out of business after Wall Street got involved and bought them up. When there was a downturn, they all went out of business, a lot of ambulance licenses became worthless after that. If you give me some time I could probably list them off. The old 47.66 morgue channel was installed in every hospital in the city, as sort of a mutual aide channel of the day.

Also, bear in mind that the New York Hospital Queens unit that covers LaGuardia Airport operates on the PAPD LGA channel.

I work at New York Presbyterian Hospital and have a frequency I can;t seem to figure out what it is, who it is or if it is an input or repeater

I searched all the FCC Licenses for

Columbia University
Columbia University Medical Center
Columbia University Medical School
Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center
Presbyterian Hospital
Columbia Presbyterian Hospital
New York Hospital
New York Presbyterian
New York Presbyterian Hospital

and many other combos .. FCC Database is loaded with these but still can't find anything close to this). It seems to be Columbia Medical School Facilities / Security ?

Could also be Mailman School of Public Health but unlikely... Chat goes from maintenance related to security related (officer ranks are mentioned) as well as "North Campus" and "Ferry Road" have been heard.

OK it may be part of a trunked system. I am definitely hearing multiple different conversations. Now it is mostly Columbia University Medical School Facilities.
