First there is the Diamond D-130J,I have this antenna and it works good and its built tough. Diamond D-130J D-130NJ Discone Antenna Then there is the Antennacraft ST2,this antenna is not as sturdy as the Diamond discone but people say its a really good scanner antenna. Antennacraft ST2 Scanner Antenna, Antenna Craft ST-2 Now those two antennas are just the two mainstream antennas for scanners, there are others that you may like better.
