Listening to 27.165 MHz (CB Ch 17) in AM mode in Portland the last 20 min (10pm hour PST). Fair bit of CB chatter. Three or four dudes. Nothing said you’d want your mother to hear.

If you are happy with your test results then enjoy your setup and have fun. Below is a write-up by a Ham club about the very subject we have been discussing here. Use of a coaxial switch for selecting between transceivers needs to be carefully thought out, most switches don't provide the isolation required when a high amount of RF is close by the unused port. Personally, I wouldn't use the MFJ model recommended in this article, their build quality can vary drastically even between the same model. Using a simple coaxial T-connector would provide no isolation whatsoever.
