the TG 5155 and Patch TG 63xxx will show up together like that when they are patched. there are more patched together than just 2 but the scanner will only show 2, once you've added the TGs to your favorites list u won't see that on a uniden, unless others show up...

Not sure who ID'd 5921 as Utah County Law 1 in the DB, but if true, 5931 should then be Utah County SAR as they had an exercise this morning, and they used both systems for comms. Got some distortion from time to time, but I think that was on my end and not their comms.
I heard that exercise on 5931, but could not tell where they were. There was some mention of "near Heber". I don't think 5921 is accurate. I've been monitoring UC Simo and Cedar Hills sites for weeks and have not seen that TG show up. I've only heard TG 6025 where they said they were in the county, but it was just car-car law stuff. No idea what agency.

Hopefully, UHP and Morgan County will have their own individual TG's, instead of being lumped in with Weber. :(
Former Morgan deputy here- They won't have their own TG's, they are committed to share TG's with Weber, just like North Ogden, South Ogden, WSU, Riverdale etc.

After months and months trying to get this to work, all of a sudden it started. I'm using two V4 dongles.

MrBungle - Did you program the data in the "Alias" field, or was from the control channel?
It's from the alias list downloaded from the RR database, I just changed the icon

Captured quite a bit of audio on 1900 this morning around 11AM. Callsigns Charlie 1 thru Charlie 4. Mentioned "Zone 5" and "Microwave 5" - quite a bit of the audio was blown out so it was difficult to decipher what they were saying. Heard what I think was "fence checks", "Tower 1", and "Intake" - along with "FFST"? No dispatch, just all radio-to-radio comms.

I live and work in Brigham City, so I'll be monitoring here when I can. I have muted all of the TG's I don't need right now, enabled 'listen' on the ones I want in Box Elder and I'll monitor (and log). I'm looking for the car to car channels right now.

FFST? Maybe SFST? Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Man I got soooo good at those, I loved catching DUI's and was known in my area for being good at it. Sometimes I would be called over to handle for another officer, but that's never good because the saying is "you catch 'em, you clean 'em", plus you don't get good experience having someone else handle it for you.

Sounds like the State Prison. Their perimeter units use the callsign "Charlie"

Hearing the techs testing on these channels right now - hoping they ID which one is which OTA before they secure them again. Otherwise they'll just be generic "Lifeflight Encrypted" like they were for 800...

EDIT: Yes, the dispatcher said "This is Lifeflight Ops" and the tech said "Lifeflight Salt Lake" - those are not my IDs.

Here's what I'm hearing so far with the early transition for Utah County

Code:
5905 - Unknown - Grouped w/Fire 2
 5906 - Unknown - Grouped w/Fire 3
 5909 - Unknown - Grouped w/Law 1
 5910 - Unknown - Grouped w/Law 3
 5921 - Utah County Law 1 (Grouped with 5909)
 5922 - Utah County Law 2
 5923 - Utah County Law 3 (Grouped with 5910)
 5924 - Utah County Law 4
 5936 - Utah County Fire 2 (Grouped with 5905)
 5937 - Utah County Fire 3 (Grouped with 5906)
 5931 - Utah County SAR
 6025 - Bluffdale PD Car2Car

Law 1 & 3 are currently in "supergroups" and most audio is still in analog. No audio from Orem/Provo (Metro Emergency Communications) and Springville Public Safety just yet, but I believe they're slated for later this week, along with UVU and BYU.

I have collected/identified/monitored several/many TG's in the Davis Co area. Too many for me to post here. I have posted some on the Discord site, but the majority I've been submitting straight to the Radio Reference Database.

Holy crap Utah County is a mess right now...CAD is down (and then up, and then down again), VHF paging is down, LEOs complaining about not being able to hear anything, dispatchers being told constantly they're low volume, then having to repeat (or ask to repeat) things two or three times.

Metro (Orem/Provo) came online today.

6206 - Metro Law 1 (not sure if this is now a combined channel or Orem Law 1 or Provo Law 1; they've been patched together on 800 ever since Provo and Orem dispatch combined)
6215 - Orem/Provo Fire Dispatch (automated)
6216 - Metro Fire 1 (again, not sure if Orem Fire 1 or Provo Fire 1...same story, been patched on 800, etc, etc)
6232 - A car to car channel; not sure whose

Also 5938 and 5939 confirmed Utah County Fire 4 and Fire 5 respectively.

I'm monitoring both Lake Mountain and West Mountain, and it seems West has more traffic affiliated with it at the moment, but I bet that's due to proximity to CU911 in SF.

I'm seeing more traffic on Kimball Tower than the Simulcast site for Provo & Orem. Yeah, things seem to be going up and down patched/unpatched.
6207 Provo PD 2
It seems Metro Fire is a new thing for both Provo and Orem. Still not sure if PD will be the same.
6217 Metro Fire 2
The automated Fire dispatch showed up on 6218 - but I'm unsure. I heard Engine 44 on 6215, but too early to tell.
