Hi was looking for a scanner info for the Luzerne & Lackawanna counties in Pa.,I was wondering are these area's digital or analog and any recomendations on a scanner .Thanks

The open sky and TRBO are a no for any scanner
But a GRE PSR-410 PSR-310 149.00 onsale
The Radioshack PRO-163 or PRO-164 or the PRO-107 all under 200.00

I don't hear about ANY digital in those counties. My advice is to NOT get one just in case. Digital scanners improve approx every 2 years, and it would take twice that to get a system up and running. By that time, you can get a better scanner for about the same price as today.
