Is anyone else noticing NETCOM Site 3 (Keller/Southlake/Colleyville) car-to-dispatch transmissions are sometimes not coming through or are breaking off shortly after transmission begins? It's not happening often. Maybe 3-4 times an hour, but it never used to happen. Just curious if it's just me.

Is this only happening to PD transmissions? Or FD mobile units as well?

I've notified my radios will be quieter than usual at times lately.

I've only noticed it on PD, but I typically only monitor FD Alarm TG. Only if something interesting happens do I switch over to a zone that has FD Response programmed.

For example, just heard 114 (a Colleyville unit) call in. I heard, "If you can just" and then it stopped. A few second later, I heard dispatch reply with "10-4". This is definitely a new development. Never used to happen.

And FWIW, I am using the stock antenna on my G5, but I'm seeing full bars. Since it's only happening on mobile units, it sure does seem like a signal issue. I'm just perplexed because it's not happened until a couple of days ago.

I'll see if I can listen in a bit and see if I hear anything that sounds similar. I don't typically listen to PD but I have a similar issue with FD where all I hear after a long bit of silence is "10-4" or "received at x time"

Thanks, Chase. Are you hearing that on your 436? I often have that issue on my 436 due to simulcast issues, but it's never happened before on my G5.

Yes. That's also both with and without my attic discone. I also tend to not get as much simulcast distortion at home as I am a little bit lower than other areas around here, but I still have a strong signal reading as there is a NETCOM site 1-2 miles from me so I don't think my issues stem from that much.

Also didn't have these issues when I was down in Austin scanning the GATCRRS, which from what I've heard is pretty similar to the FWRRS

Well, if there is something going on, hopefully it's temporary. Maybe a repeater down somewhere or something.

It must have been some kind of transient issue. I haven't had this happen at all today and my radio, as usual, has been on all day.
