Netset PRO-2032 question

Hi everyone,

I'm new to scanners and am about to purchase a Netset PRO-2032. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of things I can listen to in Halifax. Is this type of scanner able to pick up police frequencies?

No, in order to listen to anything public safety related in Halifax you will need a scanner capable of trunking, and if you want to listen to police you will need a scanner that does digital trunking. You would be looking at something like a GRE PSR-500 or a Uniden BCD396XT.
