FYI...couple weeks back I installed a Linksys WRT54G 2.4Ghz router (see Scanning Forum from cg April 10, 2004 where this is ref'd). Then found I couldn't scan the HC digital system on the Pro-96 in the same room unless I paused on a TG when active otherwise the scan got stuck at 154.2200 with just noise. Hmm? A similar thing used to happen with my Pro-94 and my old computer when I walked outside past the back of the computer, but it would be a loud buzz. Hmm, again? I read the solutions from the April 10 messages, then found my own. Got some aluminum foil and made sort of a "blocker" in between the router and the scanner. Now back in business and can listen and compute at the same time. Aluminum foil might become the duct tape in the 2.4Ghz age. Hope this makes sense and helps someone else. Haven't tried the foil when using the beltclip. Might look too weird.

I get it too and it's radiating from the cat5 cables too. I made loops in the cables near the router and that helped quite a bit. The linksys routers are horribly dirty at Vhf and it will radiate throuhout my house on certain freqs.

I have a flat screen monitor that helps a-lot but most seems to be coming from the router box and cables directly.

It's not the monitor screen

I've had the monitor for seven months and no interference even three feet from it. The timing has it for the router vibes. Spoke with an expert insulation scientist tonight and he can't believe my solution that works. Wants to see it. I've now even wrapped the Pro-96 antenna completely in foil and still get the digital county system, but it blocks the 2.4Ghz router signal interference. I'm confused. Will email Linksys (in India?) to see what that say. Can't see it coming from the thick Westell modem ethernet cable to the router??? Maybe the thinner Linksys ethernet cable from the router to the 'pewter??? I am not a rocket scientist.
