Based at Reno-Stead

032.3500 MHz/150.0 Hz (Confirmed)

Callsign may start with "Carson xxxx" lots of engine noise in background,hard to understand.
I have seen this freq here and there listed as NV ANG but i never dedicated myself to monitoring it.
Today while searching Lowband i heard lots of Air to Air comms refering to distance from each other,
and upon arriving at unknown area to switch to ???? Uniform.
241.0000 MHz nothing heard, may had been CENTER,MWTC or NASF Freq.
I quickly searched those freqs but no luck, will continue to monitor.
Where i live these CH-47 Helos transition Minden (KMEV) airspace on a regular basis.

Thanks Bill, they have been in the area a bit the past couple of days. I just caught Mustang 18 on Norcal UHF headed back to Stead.

I might have heard them on 259.1. I believe that's a SAR freq. Usually hear Pinons on the. This was either Mustang or something from Fallon

I have a lot of UHF Freqs programed, but not that one.
About 10 years ago i could hear "Pinion #505" on Uniform out of Beale stating that to make turn would take a long time and several miles. U-2?

I have misplaced my list for those freqs.

259.1 is now programed and im gona look at my llists to ID that freq.

I pushed my search function on Lowband to see if the 32.3500 MHz freq was active and it was on the first try.

Didnt catch the callsigns, but they were CH-47 Helicopters talking air/air with female giving instructions to other CH-47 "Go to MWTC and pick up 6 packs and take them up to site"

I would bet that the Uniform channel mentioned is on this list.

jimvm FYI i lived in Brownsville,Ca (Yuba County) from about 1966 to 1977 on and off.
I was there in 1973? i think was the year that the SR-71 made a record trip from Beale to New york before it was public.
TWO SONIC booms seconds apart rattled the house big time and it was a week later i believe that the SR-71 story was i the Apeal-Democrat admitting the existance of the MACH + SR-71 Blackbird Spy Plane and that the record trip from Beale to New York then to Europe.
This recall is from my memory as a 14 year old kid with a Pro-77 Crystal Controlled scanner in the Yuba County foothills.
Some other time i will tell of the UFO doing weird maneuvers north of Beale maybe around the Loma rica area in 1974 or it was 1975.

If its any farther than NASF Top Gun or northern/high altitude TTR or NELLIS ranges i may not be able to hear it.

FYI: 138.875 AM is very active here.
KC-10 refueling air to air.
They are out of Travis AFB and cover CONUS for REACH Aircraft.
The signal is so strong sometimes it bleeds over on other freqs.
Im directly east of lake tahoe and south of carson city.
This airspace is crowded but the average person with no exposure to aircraft/radio traffic/tracking would have no idea due to the extreme altitude.

318.55 is used for these large scale exercises at MWTC. You will hear warlord as the airborne control. I believe they are Kings out of Beale. Yesterday he was working with several aircraft including Roller31 out of Reno inbound to do drops.

I search many bands for activity from MWTC and never heard that one.
After i heard 32.350 MHz active yesterday that i posted on, i listened the rest of the day and not a peep.
MWTC is right down 395 from me.
It took years for myself to finally discover the Security freq down there and it seems it was right under my nose the whole time. LOL
318.55 is being put in my radios as i speak.

I want to put it on my list as a permanent MWTC assignment.

I cant remember where i got this info and if the 152nd is still here and if they are C-130 aircraft based at RTIA and if they are also involved in training at MWTC.
I would have to check on websites etc unless you know all the above questions.

I found another freq for Nevada Army National Guard
277.5000 AM Operations (I havent confirmed this yet).

Ive loaded all the freqs i could find so far VHF LOW,HIGH & UHF + UHF SATCOM for possible MWTC Training Operations to see if there is a freq were missing.
Im picking up many UHF Satcom Relays, but so far all encrypted.

I just heard weak traffic on 141.025 MWTC SAR Crossband with 49.900 VHF LOW, it sounded like it was simplex, because mean pk signal comes in much better than this signal i just heard.
Ive never heard traffic on this freq before even though i have been monitoring for years along with the others.

A few months ago i heard on the one of VHF MWTC Repeaters that they had UAV or drone airborne as part of the training going on.

Another odd communication i heard was on 135.8250 MHz regarding emergency traffic and it was Air/Air with one aircraft inspecting the underside of the aircraft in distress.
The channel was called NASA-4 and they were enroute Edwards AFB.
