New 24/7 Chicagoland Fire & Mutual Aid radio mix feed at www.justin.tv/radioman911
I want to invite everyone here at Radio Reference to visit the Chicagoland Fire and Mutual Aid radio mix feed at
Justin.tv - Radioman 911: entertainment action_adventure chicagoland fire department radio traffic audio chicago coast
After spending years fine tuning my array of radios, antennas, mixers, filters, ground lifters, etc in an effort to produce the cleanest mix of Chicagoland fire radio traffic out there, I decided to share the system with the web. The site is in stereo. The suburbs are in the left channel and Chicago proper is in the right. A video display of the Vertex 2-ways allows you to see most of what you are listening to. The site covers all fire departments in Cook, DuPage, Lake, Kane, Kendall, DeKalb, Will, southern McHenry, and Kankakee when conditions permit.
There is also a link on the site to add all the suburban trunked radio systems to the left channel. I am working on adding the Northwest Central Dispatch P25 system but as of now that is the only hole in the coverage. However the DuComm IFERN patch is always in both channels so you will hear box alarms from those department.
Also make sure to check out the clips section which contains many major fires and pursuits in our region made possible by the archive section of the website. And please feel free to sign up to chat about public safety related info or info relating to the current radio traffic.
Hope to see you listening!
