New 380Mhz System near Bogue Field

I live across the street from USMC Bogue Field in western Carteret County...and a new system has popped up.....

CC 380.400 Mhz

it's FULL SCALE here....pegged s-meter on an inside whip antenna...stronger than my local Viper site......or about anything else too....it's either at Bogue Field or real close here in western Carteret or eastern Onslow tower site.....or i'm in it's optimum signal path.....

SID: 000Ah-1212

2am...no traffic heard yet (even if it turns out encrypted)....tho I have caught brief blips on 380.550 Mhz but too short to ID......yet.

Keep an ear out, boys......

every once in a very long while the CC shifts to 380.550 Mhz for a very short time, like only a few seconds....showing same SSID: 000Ah-1212....no TG's showing.....

CC 380.550 is def the second Control Channel for this system....they switched over tonight....
