New 396t owner requests help...

hi ,,i just got the 396t a week ago ,,,how do i program the freq's that i like to listen to ,,,,where do i put them ,,,,,this scanner is a big step up from the pro 29 that i had,,,,

First thing read the manual. Second thing download USAD free 396T software from Uniden. Third thing look at the frequencies and trunked sytems in your area. Ask questions in the Uniden scanner forum. If you make a small donation to RadioReference you can use the web
import feature of the software (downloads systems to USAD, no programming need on your part).

thanks ...i've been reading the manual,,,i've downloaded the uniden software ,,,,i've neverr used scanner software b/4 ,,,,do i create a group in the pre programed systems? or else where?i live in ontario canada and i would like to listen to opp., fire , ambulance services in my area. i have frequency guide with most of the info that i need
