Hello,

According to this news item about Military 390 MHz systems and Garage Door Openers:
http://www.radioreference.com/modul...amp;sid=689&mode=&order=0&thold=0
"The radios are coming online in at least two more places: Fort Hamilton in New York City and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington,
D.C."

So my guess is correct. This is a low power system for the Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

Upon looking here:

and here:

I just happened to think of something. The one shows a control channel on 385.7125 and the other shows 407.4125. Those are exactly 21.7MHz apart. I'm wondering if they may be the same system and the scanner is showing the IF frequency difference. Although, one is showing 3600 Baud Analog/Digital and the other is P-25 CAI Digital.

Do we have anyone in the area that can verify if these are two seperate systems or possibly one in the same?

This has already been discussed here and the systems do indeed appear to be distinct. Furthermore, we have submissions that the Motorola system has been tracked and encryption noted on all talkgroups.

I did pick up some P25 on 386.2125 and 386.5625. The BC796 can not be set up for 380 MHz.

385.7125 9600 Control ?
386.2125 P25 Voice
386.5625 P25 Voice

I am showing a 4th freq of 385.9125MHz as decoded by Pro96com and a PRO-96.

Actually to overcome the poor sensitivity of the PRO-96 in this range I am using it as a 21.4MHz IF P25 decoder.

I used Win96 to open up coverage for the 380-400MHz band for the P25 systems. One of the side benefits of expanding the RX range was I could now tune down to 21.4MHz, so I hooked the PRO-96 up to the IF output of my Watkins-Johnson WJ8618B HF-UHF surveillance receiver. Now I have a very sensitive receiver that can now decode P25 digital signals my leveraging the PRO-96 as a P25 decoder, it works very well for me.
