New Ameren Sc21 freqs

I see there is some new Ameren Freqs for my area
1005 Ameren - Adams (Quincy) 855.16250
1006 Ameren - Hancock South (Augusta) 857.31250

Where would I add these at in my 996? do i make a new site or do i add these to one of the towers I already have programed?

We don't know if they are going to be used as control channels, voice or both. For that reason I would add them as a new site, and in addition, put them in a scanner as conventional channels so you can find out how they are being used.

Also remember that the Site Numbers listed (1005, 1006 etc.) are placeholders, not actual site numbers. The SysAdmin needs to have a number in there so that they sort correctly.

Was hearing the Ameren on ID4228 on T125-Grundy and T133-Ottawa today and added the ID's to the respective towers programed in the GRE500 and Uniden396....They were very busy with lines down due to heavy T-Storms in Peru and Morris area....Also, hearing some electric company fixing power lines on "Clear Talk" in LaSalle Co.....

All Im hearing on the Hancock county frequency is sounding like a motor boat.
