Check this ink, there are multiple clamps.

I already was aware of this link, so I checked it again just in case I missed something. The replacement parts listed in this link will Not work for my antenna. I checked the antennas that these repair kits were for CM2016, CM2018 & CM3016 and all of these antenna have a round Boom/Mast tube as the main tube, which means the clamp is for a round Boom/Mast type antenna, mine is 1" square Boom/Mast tube.
I appreciate your link but not going to work for me, Thanks.

After reconsidering the distance from the long center radials to the mast in reference to the original mast/boom length of 20", I have decided to make this mast/boom longer. To open up this gap. Figuring 1" of the mast/boom through the mast clamp and 1 3/4" from to the center of the mast clamp is where your mast pipe would end up being. That would give you a distance of 11" from the center of your mast pipe to the back of the long radial and that would be the distance that everyone was concerned about, was never a problem before but... I can make that a bigger gap by making the mast/boom tube longer on the antenna (as pointed out previously).

With the new length of 26" mast/boom tube the distance that was 11" now becomes 17" gap between your mast pipe and the long radial.

I am more then confident that the heavy duty mounting clamp that is included with this antenna can handle the additional weight hanging out 6" more then before.

So see....... I do take into consideration your thoughts :) Can't and won't always comply with them but in this case I did.

If for some reason you don't think the clamp can handle the additional weight and still keep the antenna horizontal, then just slide the mast/boom tube further through the clamp.

Here is a small drawing showing the dimensional aspects. The Numbers in the Green Boxes show the distance change that is the topic of this thread. "A" showing how the original was spaced and "B" showing the New Spacing. Not shown, but the long center radial is in the center of the center insulator.

SCRAP THIS IDEA, I am staying with the original 20" mast/boom, sorry for the confusion.
There are reasons behind it. Explained at a later date.

Just wanted to update things, testing is still being done on the antenna and things are progressing.

I never knew what all was involved with testing but let me tell you Everything is being tested and Everything affects an antennas preformance and I mean everything. It's a large learning curve for me, Thanks to a very knowledgable tester and the fact that every stage is being explained to me as the testing progress carries on.

While the testing is on going and production has stopped at this point because if changes are going to be made I don't want a bunch of parts that can't be used. That becomes exspensive.

so, since I have what would be considered Down Time, I have been working on the web site and it is finished.

I would be very interested in what you think they should cost, I asked way back in this thread for opinions on cost and not one person mentioned a price, so please let us all know what your price for this antenna would be?

There were, but were removed by a mod as "off topic". So are you just pulling out a price from the air?

Out of my price range, glad I have a few original ones.

Good luck!

I think having the test results and possibly a real world comparison to something say like a Discone would help in establishing a value on the antenna. Otherwise my only suggestion would be set the price as low as you can and still make enough profit to make it worthwhile to make the antennas.

I will say at $189 this thing better blow away anything else out there or I don't think you will sell many.
