New antenna location question

I had a 160MHz antenna within about 5 feet of the service feed for my house for a temporary setup and I could certainly hear quite a bit of noise on weaker signals, I moved it away and the noise went away. That is the only antenna I've had remotely close to a power feed line so I can't say how it would work at 800MHz.

Polyphasers are not water proof so if you use them outside they
must be inside a NEMA 3R minimum rated enclosure.
